TERMS OF SERVICE

OVERVIEW

These Terms of Service apply when you access this website or purchase goods from Signal Commerce. The terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Signal Commerce.

Our store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform that enables us to offer products and services to you.

By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

  1. ELIGIBILITY AND CUSTOMER INFORMATION

You must be at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent or legal guardian to place an order.

You agree to provide accurate and complete contact, billing, payment and delivery information. You are responsible for keeping any customer account credentials secure.

Customer accounts are optional and are not required to complete checkout.

  1. PRODUCTS

We aim to describe and display products accurately. Colours and appearance may vary slightly because of screen settings, photography and normal manufacturing variations.

Product availability can change without notice. We may limit quantities or discontinue products where reasonably necessary.

Product descriptions do not remove or restrict your statutory rights where goods are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose.

  1. PRICES

Prices are displayed in pounds sterling and include applicable UK taxes unless clearly stated otherwise.

Delivery charges and any other applicable charges will be displayed before you complete checkout.

The price charged will be the price shown when your order is placed. If an obvious pricing or listing error occurs, we may contact you before accepting the order or cancel it and issue a full refund.

  1. ORDERS AND PAYMENT

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase the selected goods. A contract is formed when we accept your order and confirm that it is being processed or dispatched.

We may reject or cancel an order if:

  • Payment cannot be authorised

  • The product is unavailable

  • The price or product information contains a material error

  • The order appears fraudulent or unlawful

  • We cannot deliver to the supplied address

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the amount paid.

  1. THIRD-PARTY FULFILMENT

Products may be stored, packed or dispatched by third-party suppliers acting on our behalf. Items from the same order may arrive in separate parcels.

Your purchase contract remains with Signal Commerce. A supplier or courier fulfilling an order does not replace our responsibilities to you as the retailer.

  1. DELIVERY

Estimated delivery periods and charges will be displayed before purchase or provided in your order confirmation.

Delivery estimates are not guarantees. We will deliver within the agreed period or, where no period has been agreed, within 30 days unless otherwise permitted by law.

Please contact us if an order is delayed. Your legal remedies for late or failed delivery are not affected by these Terms.

Responsibility for the goods passes to you when they are delivered into your physical possession or the possession of someone you nominate.

  1. CANCELLATIONS, RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Cancellation, return and refund requests are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy.

UK customers generally have the right to cancel most online purchases within 14 days after receiving the goods. We additionally offer an eligible voluntary return period of up to 30 days.

Any exceptions will be stated in the Refund Policy or clearly disclosed before purchase.

  1. FAULTY OR INCORRECT GOODS

Contact us promptly if goods are faulty, damaged, not as described, not fit for purpose or different from what you ordered.

We will provide an appropriate repair, replacement, price reduction or refund where required under UK consumer law. Your statutory rights are not affected.

  1. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The website’s original branding, text, graphics, photographs, videos, designs and other content are owned by or licensed to Signal Commerce unless stated otherwise.

You may use the website for personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not reproduce, distribute, sell or commercially exploit protected content without permission.

Shopify and other third-party names, logos and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

  1. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS

The website may contain links to services operated by third parties. We are not responsible for the content or security of external websites that we do not control.

Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies, which you should review before using them.

  1. RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY

Our store is powered by Shopify. Shopify supplies the ecommerce platform but is not the seller of products purchased from Signal Commerce.

Questions, cancellations, returns and complaints relating to purchases should be directed to us.

  1. PRIVACY

Our collection and use of personal information are explained in our Privacy Policy.

Information required to operate the store, process payments and fulfil orders may be shared with Shopify, payment providers, couriers, fulfilment suppliers and other necessary service providers.

  1. PROHIBITED USE

You must not:

  • Use the website for fraudulent or unlawful purposes

  • Attempt unauthorised access to the website or another customer’s account

  • Introduce viruses, malicious code or harmful technology

  • Interfere with the website’s operation or security

  • Scrape or reproduce protected content without permission

  • Submit false, misleading, abusive or unlawful material

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect customers, the store or third parties.

  1. LIABILITY

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or breach of your mandatory consumer rights.

We are not responsible for business losses arising from a purchase made for personal or household use, or for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed.

  1. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our services, business practices or legal obligations.

The Terms in effect when your order is placed will apply to that purchase. Material changes will not retrospectively reduce your rights relating to an existing order.

  1. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you retain any mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings in the courts available to you under applicable consumer law.
